Grandmaster Of The Year 2007!

The Wang Kiu Wing chun Pai- Ryckewaert clan,
has the honor to inform you that our Sifu Wang Kiu has been chosen as grandmaster of the year 2007 by the WVTAA.
As the Wang Kiu Pai we are very happy to have cheered from the sideline to help convince the WVTAA to nominate Sifu Wang Kiu.
We are proud to finish the year 2007, the year of the Boar as the year of Sifu Wang Kiu.
He’s officially the star of the Wang Kiu Pai- Ryckewaert Clan (on 14 April 2007 a star was named after Sifu Wang Kiu.)
He’s officially from the 1st of September 2007 the Grandmaster of the year for all those practitioners of his Wing Chun.

2007 4th Quarter NEWSLETTER of the WVTAA
The WVTAA Hall of Fame for 2007 was convened in July and two new members have been inducted into this prestigious Hall of Fame on September 01, 2007. Grandmaster of the Year was conferred on Wang Kiu and Sifu of the Year was conferred on Rene Ritchie. Please join the WVTAA and congratulate them for all that they unselfishly do to propagate our beloved Ving Tsun.

Joseph Wang Kiu ‘s daughter Mei Lan brings great news. She was contacted by the World Ving Tsun Athletic Association that her father is chosen as Grandmaster of this year 2007.

So she brings him to Aken (Germany) were an award is waiting for him. It is in the house were Napoleon crowned himself.

The Mayer gives a speech for his life achievement in promoting Wing Chun Kung Fu and hands over 2 certificates and a nicely framed award.

It is time for a little celebration with some champagne. Joseph Wang Kiu’s daughter and Ping rejoiced with him together.

2007 is truly the year of GM Wang Kiu: A Star has been named after him and rearded as Grandmaster of the year.
2007 is also the year of the Wang Kiu—Ryckewaert Pai-clan: Recognition as representatives to protect, prolong and preserve his legacy and awarded with a VTAA certificate as a student of GM Wang Kiu.
